Blog Post – Dream Achiever Blueprint

1

This blueprint is made for go-getters that want to achieve absurd levels of success. If you complete this, the result will be a personalized tactical roadmap to achieve your wildest dreams – a step-by-step plan that works with your life and won’t require you to make unrealistic life altering changes.

You’ll need to invest the next 20 minutes and complete the following four steps to create your blueprint. Can you commit to that?

Get ready, it’s time to make a change.

The good news is… it’s really easy to avoid the “holiday back slide”.  You just need laser focused vision along with an actionable plan that you’ll actually execute. Use this framework to zero in on the perfect plan and achieve your dreams.

First thing’s first. Before you consider what you’re capable of achieving, take a moment and consider why you should.

If you don’t take time to define the people, things, and experiences that you care about – you will fall short. Our selfish desires change on a week-to-week basis. Who and what are the people, things, and experiences in your life that mean the most? These are the true sources of motivation. Write a list of whatever comes to mind, the longer the better.

What is a goal, and what is a dream?

Why do you need both?

A goal and a dream are two different things. Imagine yourself happy and healthy with a 6-pack on the beach, enjoying life. That’s a dream. Maybe not for you, but what is your dream? Take a moment and put yourself there.

Be specific, what does it look like? How does it feel? How does it smell?

Over time you’ll get more clarity and specificity. For now, it’s just important that you have a starting point.

Write your dreams down.

Now that you understand the dream, it’s easy to create your goals.

The goal is not “I want a six-pack”. That’s a dream. Goals should be a measurable amount of work over a certain period of time.

If you want to lose weight and show off your six-pack abs then you need time based commitments that require you to move in the right direction, but won’t cause you to change everything overnight. Here’s an example:

30 Day Commitment

– Walk for 30 minutes per day + 10 pushups + 10 air squats + 10 Crunches

– Drink 70 ounces of water per day

– Eat a healthy breakfast and lunch everyday.

Notice how each goal is an ACTION that is based on your DREAM. Each day that you do the ACTION, you achieve your goal. Each day that you achieve your goal, you’re closer to the dream.

The main key here is to stretch yourself, but not much. Most people overestimate what they can do in a month, but underestimate what they can accomplish in a year. Progress is the name of the game.

When you truly embrace this concept it provides an enormous amount of peace and clarity. You no longer have to aimlessly wander around. Determine the dream, set up the goals, and do the work. Success is just around the corner.

Now, you’re ready to do the work. The plan is in place, but nothing will happen if you don’t commit to the work. This is where routines come into play. Figure out how to fit your goals into your day with the least amount of friction possible.

With each passing day your confidence will build, and the work will become more and more enjoyable as the light of that dream becomes brighter and brighter.

Now, it’s time to get to work. We advise that you physically write out your blueprint every day. You should have something that looks like this:
